PROFESSIONAL TEAM

Dr. Amor Khachemoune is a triple Board-Certified Dermatologist, Dermatopathologist, and Mohs micrographic surgeon. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society of Lasers in Medicine & Surgery.

Dr. Khachemoune attended medical school at the National Institute of Medical Sciences in Constantine, Algeria, and had subsequent general and cosmetic dermatology training in Lille, France.


Dr. Khachemoune did his dermatology residency training in the U.S.A. at Georgetown University Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident. His subspecialty fellowship training included wound healing at Boston University, Photomedicine and laser surgery at Harvard, and Dermatopathology and Mohs micrographic surgery at the State University of New York.

Dr. Khachemoune has published 25 book chapters and over 400 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals. He is on the editorial board of 14 medical journals.

Dr. Khachemoune is currently the chief of the Mohs micrographic surgery program at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He is also on the dermatology teaching faculty at the University of Maryland, the State University of New York, and West Virginia University.

Mehmet Ali Demirci

MD

Dr. Mehmet Ali Demirci is a medical doctor in Türkiye.

Dr. Demirci completed his medical education at the Necmettin Erbakan University Meram Faculty of Medicine in Konya, Türkiye. His academic pursuits in the United States, focusing on dermatology, dermatopathology, and Mohs micrographic surgery, allowed him to gain international experience.

Previously, he has held various leadership and research positions, including membership on the Student Evaluation Board, founding leadership of a university-wide research community, media coordinator of an international medical journal, and conducting research in neurophysics. He is also a highly engaged volunteer in the community and holds several certifications in clinical pathology and medical education.
